I was almost asleep, and for some reason I was thinking about the old movie “Back To The Future”. If you will remember, they kept having to go back in time to fix what they messed up in their future!
Then the Holy Spirit spoke these words to me: “You can change your future”! It went all through me. What an amazing statement!
“You can change your future!”
So, how do I change my future? Prayer! You can break through obstacles with prayer. You can pull down strongholds with prayer. You can fulfill your personal calling and destiny for the Kingdom of God in your secret place of prayer.
Nothing can stop the prayers of a Momma for her child, whether they are young or old. And nothing can stop Jesus from interceding for you on your behalf. He paid the ultimate price for you and He will not let you go!
Prayer is a real force that cannot be stopped! It cannot be stopped! It operates in a realm not seen in the natural. It operates in the spirit realm, the supernatural realm, The God Realm!
We’ve all heard stories of how someone interceded and the circumstances were changed. Or someone interceded and a person was miraculously better.
What exactly happens when we pray? We set things in motion. We send the presence of the Holy Spirit right in the middle of the situation, and we know the Holy Spirit is God Almighty’s presence on the earth! How powerful is that?! We activate, or send angels to go to work in the realm we cannot see. They fight our enemies on our behalf. They bind them, and carry them off. They bring messages, blessings, and answers to our prayers.
Isaiah 55:11 “So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: It shall not return to Me void (without producing any effect, useless), but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Amplified Version
So the words we speak in prayer are powerful. They cause things to happen. They motivate and activate the spirit realm.
You can change your future! You can change the future of your spouse. You can change the future of your children. You can change the future of a friend. How? By Prayer!
Not by beating them over the head with what we think they should do, but by giving the Holy Spirit an opportunity to draw them to Jesus, the answer.
We, the body of Christ, we need each other. We need to be praying for each other, for our families, and our pastors. We need to be praying for our bosses, and for our country. Our prayers do make a difference!
Go! Change your future!
