Kingdom Identity - A Matter of the Heart

Thank you for visiting my blog site at Judy & the Blog’ettes! Having studied the Song of Songs for over 15 years, I felt compelled to write a blog series called A Journey through the Song, otherwise known as The Song of Solomon in the Bible. For whoever is reading this…it is really YOUR story. While many look at this little book in the Old Testament as a literal human love story between King Solomon and the Shulamite girl, I believe there is a deeper meaning to the story. I choose to view it as an allegorical story between the Bride of Christ and the Bridegroom King Jesus. As you discover when you journey through the Song with me, this book has been tucked away from the casual eye, and reserved for those who have a hunger to know Him more. It is not for the faint of heart, because it requires a deep searching of your heart.

Our journey through life takes many twists and turns, and The Song of Solomon could very well be the story of any one of us. The circumstances may be different, there may be an inconsistency in the names and places, but the storyline is the same. It’s a story of victories and defeats, pain & pleasure, and disappointments and hope. But ultimately, it’s a story of true love and victory.

If you know Jesus in a deep personal way, you will relate easily to this story. If you don’t, this story will cause you to want to know Him more! To continue the journey with me through the Song of Solomon, please visit my blog webpage at www.JourneysOfHisLove for the full story. Of course, the story really never ends…it goes on and on, just like His love for us.

My blogs are published bi-weekly, so look for the newest blog every other Monday morning. I am so thankful you are joining me on this journey. Today is an introduction to my first blog series, but will entail many more as we experience together the journeys of His incredible love. It’s always about His love!!

Blessings to you!
